French Riviera is the visual diary of the melancholic and bittersuß feeling of holiday destinations one everyone come back home.
The idea of an emotional attachment to a specific place helps me to discover those unexpected details that are hidden among the ambiguous and sophisticated forms of nature. Creating an almost idyllic landscape which is the backdrop to a wild and refined imagination: it creates a space completely suspended in time.
The choice of an unconventional film stems from the need to revolutionize familiar places by making them unexpectedly new, the classic colours of the natural elements change into earthy and velvety shades which refer to the warm summer atmosphere.
